Madison Christian Church

Great Teamwork

Submitted by Paul Barnes on June 23, 2010 - 2:06pm.

Madison Christian Church and Madison Christian School are working together as a team to construct a float for Groveport's Fourth of July Parade!  It will emphasize one ministry, one campus, one mission - working together.  It will highlight the many things that happen on this campus seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

Celeste Zipperlen, active member of the church and chairperson of the Madson Christian School Board, has put major effort into getting this off the ground.  (Celeste is now in Honduras on mission trips, so her daughter, Jenalle Crabtree, has taken the reigns.)  People are donating money, time, and effort to construct this float.  This is involving large numbers of people from both church and school that are cooperating marvelously.

We believe it is important that we have a large and excellent presence in this important community event.  Our float will look good.  We will have cheerleaders, banners, and flags.  We will pass out church and school information, and give out special invitations to the Madison Patriotic Celebration, which takes place the very next day. Our ministry will be emphasized and the Lord will be glorified!

Please be lining the streets of the beautiful Village of Groveport on Saturday, July 3, at 1:30 p.m.  We will be looking for you!!
